We are local startup based in the Lehigh Valley that is building a modern software platform tailored to small and mid-sized wholesalers and distributors. Our platform aims to replace outdated ERP systems with a solution that’s simpler, smarter, and aligned with how small businesses actually operate. The team is currently seeking a part-time consultant with real-world experience in wholesale, distribution, or B2B retail. This is a paid consulting role, flexible and part-time — a unique opportunity to contribute early and have a direct impact on the direction of the product. This role is ideal for someone with industry knowledge and strong local relationships, who can: - Connect the team with local businesses facing common operational challenges - Offer clear, honest feedback on tools and workflows that truly matter - Participate in product shaping through early input and real-world insight - Serve on the advisory board and help guide strategic decisions Ideal Background: - Current or former owner, operator, or manager in wholesale, distribution, or B2B retail - Based in or familiar with the Lehigh Valley / Allentown / Philadelphia region - Experienced with inventory, purchasing, order management, and vendor relationships - Well-connected in the industry and eager to support other businesses through better tools Compensation: - Competitive hourly rate. - A valuable opportunity to gain experience and transition into the tech industry - We will begin with an hourly contract, initially requiring only a few hours per week, with the possibility of expanding the engagement as the project develops and additional needs arise.
