ABOUT THE ROLE: The Café serves as the store’s epicenter for nourishing, ready to eat, drinks and meals. The team serves chef-created, farm-to-table food by the pound for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each member will build an expertise in espresso, tea, smoothies, and the creation of seasonal beverages. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to create a consistent and friendly experience for our customers while maintaining a highly organized space in our open kitchen. ABOUT THE TEAM: Our Café Team serves seasonal deli-style food by the pound, rotisserie classics, prepared foods and grab & go dishes made by our kitchen team using the same farm direct ingredients you can shop in the store. The Wise Ox in North Park, part of the Trust Restaurant Group, is looking to add a Part Time Line Cook to the team. We are a full service butcher shop with a lunch line that produces 7 different burgers and sandwiches, all made from scratch. We do everything in house, from sauces to smoking, and have a high level of attention to small details. This is a fast paced environment that succeeds with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication and respect. Expect between 3-4 shifts a week, with potential for additional shifts down the line. Pay ranges between $18-$20/hr depending on experience, not including the addition of hourly tips. Hours of operation are from 10am-5pm Sunday and Monday, and 10am-6pm Tuesday-Saturday.
