Hey everyone! I am traveling from November 1st - February 1st and would love to sublet my room in Williamsburg/Greenpoint (we are at the intersection of both neighborhoods). We have a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor of a 3 story building, right across from a great little corner spot, that is a cafe in the day and Italian restaurant and bar at night. I live with one roommate, my friend who is a photographer, 32 years old, and he is usually out of the apartment most days. We are both artists, who like to work on our endeavors, but also cook, read, play chess, draw, hang out around the crib, so if that's a nice vibe for you that's great! Smoking (weed only) friendly crib, out on the balcony. And you would be welcome to use any of my supplies (within reason) if you want to draw, work on a painting, sculpture, etc. I have tools, paint, brushes, everything you would need, I just ask that you are clean and tidy, and wash brushes properly after use. Read my books - all that jazz! My bedroom has a California King mattress (only 2 years old) The total rent for my room is $1275/month plus utilities (around $250/mo, which we split 50/50 each month) so around $1400 - 1475/mo total. Zelle will be best for me, to be able to pay the rent, since I will be out of the country. We are a very communal household, so if, during that few months, you want to have a friend crash in your room or in the living room for a few nights, as long as you and my roommate chat about it, that is totally fine. You would have full access to the entire apartment. There is a spacious bathroom with full shower/tub, and a lovely balcony that seats two with a full garden. We'd ask that you water the garden while you're here, and you're welcome to harvest anything from it! You would be welcome to anything in the kitchen, fridge, pantry, coffee and teas :) Just check what food is mine or my roommates first. Laundry spot is about a 5 minute walk away, there's always plenty of free street parking on the block or around the corner, one block away from Graham Ave which has all types of great cafes, shops, Italian, Mexican, Asian cuisines, plus a solid grocery store right at the train stop. You would be a 7 min walk to Graham L stop and 12 min walk to the Nassau G. All that we ask is that you don't have any parties or loud music after 10pm, but you are welcome to have a few guests to chill if you'd like. Some things have changed a little bit from photos, as we have been doing some summer cleaning. Hit me up if this interests you! Best - E
