About The Role: As a Brake and Oil Service Technician, you’ll be the face of Pit Stop Brakes, delivering expert brake and oil change services directly to our customers’ homes and offices. You’ll combine technical excellence with strong communication skills to ensure safe, reliable repairs and a positive, stress-free customer experience. What You Will Do Diagnose, repair, and replace brake components (pads, rotors, calipers, lines, etc.) with precision and efficiency. Provide customers with clear explanations of repair needs, costs, and options. Ensure each service is performed safely and in compliance with ASE standards. Drain and replace car oil and oil filter Maintain accurate work orders and customer documentation through our mobile systems. Keep service vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition. Safely operate company and customer vehicles during repairs and testing. Represent Pit Stop Brakes with professionalism and care in every customer interaction. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Get Competitive pay starting at $28–$35/hour, depending on experience. Paid ASE certification renewals and training. All tools and equipment provided. Consistent schedule: Monday–Saturday (with one weekday off). What You’ll Need: 1+ years of brake repair experience. ASE Brake Certification preferred. Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. No college degree required.High school diploma or GED. Must be 18 years of age or older. Proven customer-facing experience with strong communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varied outdoor conditions. Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Professional communication (written and verbal) with customers and teammates. Customer-first mindset, with a commitment to safety and service. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Loon Mountain is Now Hiring Full Time Seasonal Snowmakers Job Overview Create massive amounts of snow while utilizing New Hampshire’s most powerful snowmaking. Work with a team of driven individuals all focused on creating high-quality snow across three mountain peaks. As a Loon snowmaker, you will routinely work with industry-leading snowmaking equipment while maintaining waterlines, hydrants, and high-pressure pumps across the resort. You must be safety conscious, love the outdoors, and be able to hike and work in extreme weather conditions. Entry level position in Snowmaking department. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Set up and monitor snow guns. • Monitor performance as needed to insure proper air/water combination and quality snow. • Produce quality snow across all three mountain peaks. • Inspect guns, hoses, hydrants, and other equipment to insure safe and efficient operation. • Adjust the water and/or air flow to snow guns. • Change nozzles on snow guns when necessary to maintain efficiency. • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment, including checking water pipes, fluid levels and volume, temperature controls, and energy consumption. • Document and report mechanical/safety issues, complete maintenance logs and checklists. • Perform light maintenance or repairs on equipment. • Work safely in close proximity to heavy equipment, high voltage, and high water pressures. • Perform other duties as assigned while waiting for optimum snowmaking weather. • Work closely with and assist other departments such as Grooming, Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, etc. • Test the quality of snow as it is made, reporting findings and conditions to the supervisor. • Drive snowmobiles, trucks, and ATVs as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY: • Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Loon Mountain Resort guests at all times. • Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. • Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. • Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. • Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others. • Drive in accordance with the law and Loon Mountain Resort policies if required to drive.
