Please visit our website, www.baygreen.com, to learn more about us. About the position: We are looking for applicants to fill the deckhand position for up to 4 days per week. Our typical work week is Monday to Thursday 8am-2pm but can go as long as 5pm. Occasionally we shift our schedule to include Fridays depending on the weather and boats in need of service. An ideal candidate would be: –Comfortable working on the water and climbing up on and around boats –Able to carry up to 50 lbs throughout the day –Self-motivated –Customer service-oriented –Strong and timely communicator –A team player and commitment focused Requirements: –Available to work 8am to 2pm for 1-4 days per week within the span of Monday through Thursday –Dependable car to get to the various locations we service (Berkeley, Alameda, Sausalito, San Francisco, and South San Francisco) Boat piloting experience is encouraged but not needed. We are open to training the right individuals. Navigating our vessels qualifies for hours toward a captain's license. This job is ideal for people who work well in a team but don’t mind working independently. Also, great for people who enjoy working with their hands and being outside on the water all day!
