Outings include bowling, museums, yoga, libraries, dining at restaurants, crafting, and so much more! DSPs help clients navigate outings by assisting with social norms, money management, social skills, and help them to engage in activities. The part that’s not all fun & games… DSPs are responsible for supporting clients that need assistance with daily living activities such as eating and using the restroom. Q-mapped DSPs give medication, provide first aid, administer G-tube feedings, and document according to ABLE’s policies and procedures.
