The fleet mechanic at JC Grounds Management is a dynamic role that requires a very broad base of technical knowledge. In this integral position, you will oversee the preventative maintenance and repair of our growing fleet of trucks and equipment. You will be a self-starter with an uncanny sense of urgency who is organized with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks and projects. Responsibilities Performs inspections and preventative maintenance to all trucks, loaders, skid steers, plows, snow pushers, trailers, landscape equipment and small engine equipment. Work with field technicians and management to make sure all equipment is functioning properly and ready for use. Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment onsite and offsite. 100% participation during snow events, required overtime to be worked. Complete work orders with start and end times, also noting all parts and all work done on each part of equipment repaired. Keep garage, yard and facility organized and clean at all times. Provide training to technicians in the safe and proficient use of equipment. Qualifications Valid Driver's license and clean driving record. Hoisting license (Class 2A) or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire on date. 5 years prior experience in a commercial garage / shop environment. Basic computer skills. Ability to work independently. Compensation Hourly pay ranging from $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience. Hourly pay during active snow events ranging from $40.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience. ABOUT THE JOB: We are seeking dependable and compassionate Paratransit Drivers to provide safe and timely transportation for individuals with mobility needs. This role is critical in ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and efficiently. Multiple shifts are available to fit your schedule. Ensure all types of equipment are checked regularly for proper and efficient operation. Regular tests of fire prevention system. Maintenance request forms filled out for all equipment or areas in need of repair All guest requests are given priority. Emergency lighting. Plant and Equipment Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
