The person who’s lived here for 10 years has moved so we are looking for a chill, down to earth person to fill a room in our house here in South Tabor! This will be a sort of “fresh start” for the house with new changes in furniture/decor and of course a new roommate. We’re getting a new fridge and stove/oven delivered any day now 🤩 The other roommate nor myself own the house so you’d have to be willing to meet with the landlord for some paperwork :) About the room: -$650/mo + water, gas, electric, Internet -100sqft (smallest room of the three but also the most affordable) Large portion of “dining room” designated for renter of the room -average sized closet -located in NW corner of house w/ 2 windows, window A/C unit included -next to upstairs bathroom, which you’d share with one person (I have the downstairs space which includes private bathroom) About the house: -detached garage w/ room for storage -shared laundry/storage space in basement -good size kitchen w/ nook -dining room (not exactly used for dining) 90% empty currently, we keep it open for person renting the smaller bedroom to use -big living room upstairs with gas fireplace -“private backyard” surrounded by tall hedge with big deck, hammock (summer), fenced corral area for outdoor storage (kayak/canoe/etc) -shared driveway/off street parking -2 garden beds on south side of house -Close to Mount Tabor, Winco, Fubonn, food carts, I-205 on ramps -lots of birds and animal activity in backyard which is fun The main thread that has ran through this house and the people that have lived here in the last 10 years is a love of music and the culture surrounding it. It has kept a similar vibe and we’re hoping to continue that as much as possible 🎶 ⚡️ Don’t let that discourage you from asking about the room. We have lots of other interests as well! About the roommates: We’re two guys in our early 40s who enjoy an organized, drama-free household. We both enjoy our personal space but like to keep things light and friendly around the house. We like to have fun here and there, but we do not throw parties. Having friends/partners over is cool of course. Weed is smoked in and outside the house, fyi. Shared interest include music, concerts, art, movies, comedy, appreciation for the great outdoors, cooking, and finding amazing new condiments and sauces for the fridge.
