SUMMARY: This position creates difficult to very complex CNC Programs and setups for the CNC machine shop area according to the needs of the master production schedule. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Interfaces with Design Engineers and project managers to maintain current and best programming/machining practices Updates, revises and produces programs, tool lists and job set-up sheets for machine shop. Works closely with machine operators, fabrication personnel, project managers and other machine programmers to ensure that programs are made to run as smooth and efficiently as possible. Reads and interprets intermediate to complex drawing and blueprint packages.
