Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Journeyman MI Electrician Licensed for projects in the Commerce, MI area. PAY: $35-42/hour (based upon experience) HOURS: Shifts will be 10+-hour workdays, 5 days per week SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday, 6:30 am-7:00 pm START DATE: ASAP Duration: 6+ months We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, from installations to troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and mentoring apprentices. Responsibilities for an Electrician: Install electrical wiring to ensure safe and reliable systems in homes, businesses, and other environments Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify causes, and provide repair solutions Repair electrical wiring, systems, and components Inspect wiring, components, and electrical products for safety and code compliance Train and oversee Apprentices and less-experienced Electricians Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve performance, safety, and efficiency Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting the upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves Must have standard electrical hand tools. Qualifications: Valid Journeyman Electrician License from the State of MI and OSHA 10 Strong ability to read and interpret 3-line diagrams and provide innovative solutions Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft 365 Suite and solar component certifications Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues such as faulty wiring, malfunctioning circuits, and equipment failures Hands-on experience with tools such as wire strippers, receptacle testers, pipe benders, and cable cutters Ability to read and interpret blueprints for electrical setups Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations Additional Requirements for an Electrician: Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER! I need Journeyman Licensed electricians for commercial work in the Detroit area. I have work piled up and need some guys to start next week. I can use apprentices too if you have a lot of years but would love licensed journeys. Pay is $38-$42. Please leave name and number and leet's get you start next week. Work is in the Detroit and surrounding areas so much be willing to go 30 min from Detroit.

Physical Requirements: • Physical stamina (ability to lift heavy objects as needed, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, etc.) • Perform various construction tasks such as airless paint spraying, rolling, brushing, restoring and caulking • Use power tools and other equipment to complete assigned tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Additional Requirements: • Must have valid driver's license & insurance and reliable transportation. • Must have basic hand tools. • Must have logical decision-making skills. • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. • Must be willing and able to follow directions, processes, and instructions as provided. Duties - Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, and filling holes - Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Mix and match colors for touch-ups and complete projects - Perform minor carpentry work related to painting projects - Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines Skills - Proficiency in drywall repair and installation - Ability to maintain and repair painting equipment - Experience in fixture installation for accurate painting around objects - Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques - Proficient in trim carpentry for precise finishing touches - Carpentry skills to assist with various tasks related to painting
