Industrial Painting Lead Needed ASAP!! (Cocoa, FL)

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Paint/Loading Lead for an immediate start in Cocoa, FL! WEEKLY PAY --- LONG-TERM --- TEMP-TO-HIRE! PAY: $28-$30/hour (based on experience) HOURS: Shifts will be 8 to 10-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40-50 hours/week) SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 5:00pm START DATE: ASAP DURATION: Long-term. Temp-to-hire. Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Paint/Loading Lead to oversee operations in our structural steel painting and loading departments. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and keeping production on schedule. Your ability to manage day-to-day operations, train team members, and enforce AISC specifications will be essential to maintaining the high standards we are known for. Responsibilities: --Lead, train, and support team members in the paint and loading departments. --Manage daily workflows to ensure project deadlines and quality benchmarks are met. --Ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures and AISC standards. --Perform QA/QC inspections and maintain accurate records and documentation. --Coordinate shipping and loading schedules with internal departments to ensure smooth logistics. --Assist with corrective action plans and performance management for departmental staff. Qualifications: --3+ years of experience in structural steel painting and/or loading. --1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred). --Strong understanding of AISC painting standards and QA/QC procedures. --Familiarity with production software such as EPMgo (preferred). --Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. --Commitment to a safety-first work environment and a team-oriented mindset. Additional Requirements: --Must be eligible to work in the United States. --Must have reliable transportation to the job site. --Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
