(UPDATED) Summer Project!!!! 1995 Trans Am - Needs a Home! - $3,500

address3303 Crompond Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598, USA

Description

UPDATED - Additional Pictures. Interior, Dash, Doors, and Carpet are Flawless. Passenger and Rear Floor Mats are Flawless. Driver Floor Mat has small wear area where your foot rests. (Car needs to be vacuumed... LOL) The Headliner near the passenger side has started to separate and droop. Enthusiasts, I am the original owner for the 1995 Trans Am I am trying to find a home for. I put it into storage under a cover about 13 years ago after two kids came along. I thought I would use it again after the kids left the house... However, times have changed and I must part with it. The car ran perfectly when I turned it off. The gas tank was stabilized and filled (remains filled now) and the oil and transmission fluids were changed and still look new. The exterior is in great shape and the interior is not damaged. I changed the throttle body from the original GM (48mm) to a full port Holley (52 mm), installed a low dP mass flow air sensor, cool air induction kit, and an Excel 300+ Racing Ignition. Like I said, the car ran GREAT! But once the kids starting coming (I have four now), my goals changed. The car turns over - and I fully expect it to run when cleaned up. The car body has about 196,000 miles on it, but the engine ONLY has about 120,000 on it and was fully tuned up before storage. The original engine had a casting defect in it and Pontiac REPLACED it...! God Bless them, even though the warranty was only 36,000 miles (as you know)... but they said it was something that happened during manufacturing. Now I want to be clear - Even though I upgraded some of the items, this car was never abused. Ever since I saw The Bandit in a Trans Am... I wanted one... just like everyone else :0) All the electronics still work, I hooked up a temp battery pack - the radio, windows, door locks, GM Electronics 12 Disc (Pioneer CDXM12) CD Changer, the antenna, the 1000 Watt Boom Tube, the car remote, etc... I have all the original manuals, factory supplied touchup paint, wheel lock, the GM dealer/factory repair manuals, and some parts I upgraded, and even some of the original boxes the stuff came in (e.g. Accel and Holley) Please take a look at the pictures... The Car is in Great Condition for being unused for 13 years. I see fully restored they are worth about $15,000 to $20,000 (looking at the various websites)... But I get it, it needs to get trailered (or towed) to a destination so it can be worked on... So I'm looking for $3,500 OBO. Most Importantly - I want it to go to someone who wants it. Thank You and Take Care
