At JAK Logistics, we are seeking a full time professional Class A driver with doubles endorsements for our Unassigned Stockton run. This schedule may rotate days dependent on HOS and timing of freight demands. The truck is parked in Sacramento and dispatches PM in Stockton. This is a LOCAL position. No owner operators. Driver must have a minimum one year of tractor trailer experience pulling doubles within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. Home daily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Drives food bank vehicles to make product pickup and/or deliveries to agencies and affiliate programs. • Loads and unloads trucks at the food bank location and other outreach locations. • Produces and maintains accurate documentation, including trip/mileage sheets, pre and post trip inspection forms and all DOT related documentation • Maintains a clean driving record and up-to-date Driver’s License. • Reads pick lists and other applicable documents to fill orders. • Transports product from receiving area to storage or to other designated areas in the warehouse. • Sorts and places product on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, and product code. • Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas. • Marks product with identifying information. • Weighs or counts inward or outward product where/when needed. • Provides excellent customer service to agencies, donors, and/or clients. • Assists with moving or distributing inventory or vehicles as needed. • Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility and accurate inventory. • Safely operates all warehouse equipment. • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
