Job Summary: Under the direction of the Assignments Supervisor, the Flagperson protects personnel and equipment while working on or near the tracks. The Flagperson uses various types of equipment, such as flags, whistles, discs, lights and two-way radios to ensure the safe passage of trains. The Flagperson duties primarily consist of three assignments, Switch Tender, Watchperson and Flagperson. The Switch Tender manipulates switches and signals train operators when proper switch alignment is provided. The Watchperson is charged with monitoring approaching trains and alerting work crews to clear the track of men and equipment. We have openings available for field technicians in Southern California. The job involves installing these products in both light and heavy vehicles. Previous experience in vehicle electronic systems installation (GPS, cameras, etc.) is required. Own vehicle and tools are necessary. We are a Sports team dealer that supplies uniforms and apparel to the New England Schools / Colleges / Universities. This person would be responsible for packing up the orders taken on our online stores and shipping to either the residential or School address. It entails pulling the individual orders from the order forms, neatly folding and boxing / bagging orders to ship out. Attention to detail and neatness is a must. You would be on your feet and moving around most of the time. Work area is clean and quiet to work in. The hours could fluctuate day to day, week to week. During busy times you could have a full 8 hour day. During our slow time you could maybe work a couple of hours a day or even a day or 2 off during the week. You would also make up boxes and keep the Web packing area prepped and ready to go. Great Job for someone looking to make some money but not having to be 40 hours a week.
