Hello! Happy Fall! We are renting the first floor of our family home--It is a separate space with a private entrance, bedroom, living room and bathroom. (Shared laundry). ABOUT THE SPACE:: --The home is tucked away in a forested private neighborhood, with an easy drive (~10-12 min to downtown//~15-20m to West) into Asheville. --There is a fridge, microwave, and stove for your use while here. (Deep bathroom sink is used for dishwashing). --The laundry is on this first floor as well, with this part of the house being a shared space*. We use scent-free non-toxic detergent and only do laundry when quickly and quietly during the day. ABOUT US:: My son is 15 and spends every other week with his dad. Between his busy schedule and my heavy grad-school load, home is for quiet, sanctuary and restoration. Spare-time for me is reading, painting, gardening and walking the dog. We tend to be in bed by 9:00pm and up around 7:00am. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:: A student or professional, (employed with personal/work references), tidy, kind, grounded, with healthy boundaries, probably on the quieter side. Are good with using primarily eco-friendly products in the home and okay with determining a mutually agreed upon time to put the Wifi on a timer to go off during sleeping hours. *Wear&tear wise, this space is suitable for one person only. IF THE SPACE IS A MATCH:: --$5oo NONREFUNDABLE* check to hold the space. Otherwise we will continue interviewing potential tenants. (This amount is subtracted from first months rent upon move-in.) First and last month rent due at move-in day. --Utilities (Wifi, heat/air, water, trash) are an additional $55/month, making the total before the beginning of each month $950/month. --Both full Financial and background checks are also required and paid-for by applicant.
