To get an idea of the environment, most of the tenants who come through are either college students finishing school or travelers (in Portland temporarily or landing here) usually around 18-27. Noone need feel obligated to socialize as most tenants are quite independent with a focus on school or early career. There are 2 rooms upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. Each floor has its own common areas of a kitchenette, bathroom, and living area. Upstairs tenants do not have access to the downstairs common areas and vice versa. Washer/dryer is located near the entry way with all four rooms having access to it. There is a front, middle, and back yard with seasonal apples, raspberries and thimble berries. Gardeners welcome. About us a bit: We live in the other house on the property. Hubby works from home most of the time, usually doing projects to improve the property and other creative projects with audiobooks, 3d printing and laser engraving. Wify works from home for a nonprofit in Africa helping impoverished women learn entrepreneurship. As for free time, aside from playing board games, Netflix is probably our biggest hobby. Location: We're a few blocks from Lents park and a few blocks from 82nd, nicely tucked into the neighborhood. Good walkability and convenient for bus stops or max line, hopping on the freeway, or onto the main roads into downtown.
