Role Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be a key member of the software engineering team, building our key functionality and integrating with key partners. You will have ownership in key software feature areas and their architectural design, as well as software implementation with a high level of independence and impact. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create robust, user-friendly applications that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of biologists and researchers in their scientific endeavors. Requirements 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex, highly scalable, distributed applications and systems 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with React/TypeScript/JavaScript/NodeJS Experience with both relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and NOSQL (e.g., MongoDB) Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud infrastructure/deployment tools (specifically with cluster operations and operators) Has built platforms from an early stage Has scaled platforms to handle many users (10,000+ DAU) Has extensive system-design experience Has experience designing systems with complex datasets/relations Has experience working with distributed systems/platforms Thinks about architecture first and how the code fits in second Has experience working with/implementing a multi-tenant system Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive Ability to work both independently and on a team Experience working in high-energy startups with fast product delivery mechanisms Must work onsite at least 3 days a week

Join the team and serve the community by playing an important role in keeping construction crews safe on the tracks. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Assignments Supervisor, the Flagperson protects personnel and equipment while working on or near the tracks. The Flagperson uses various types of equipment, such as flags, whistles, discs, lights and two-way radios to ensure the safe passage of trains. The Flagperson duties primarily consist of three assignments, Switch Tender, Watchperson and Flagperson. The Switch Tender manipulates switches and signals train operators when proper switch alignment is provided. The Watchperson is charged with monitoring approaching trains and alerting work crews to clear the track of men and equipment. As a Developer specializing in TypeScript and Node.js at Pierce Technology Corp, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for designing and implementing backend services and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, efficient software solutions that meet business needs. Your key responsibilities will include writing scalable and maintainable code, developing RESTful APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring the reliability of deployed applications. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
