The ideal candidate has hands-on equipment experience and understanding of heavy machinery and electricals. We are looking for someone who is organized, works efficiently, and communicates effectively with the other technicians and the whole team. The Diesel Tech will perform repairs and work on all types of construction and agricultural equipment. Responsibilities include:     •    Complete system diagnostics and full troubleshooting and testing     •    Replace batteries & hoses, and fixing leaks     •    Replace hydraulics systems     •    Engine rebuilding (Not required, but a plus)     •    Painting     •    Maintain an organized and neat shop area Some tools will be provided, but a mechanic with their own tools is preferred. Job Title: 1st Class Inside Manual Machinist Location: Shipyard – Inside Shop Shift: Day Shift Summary: Seeking an experienced 1st Class Manual Machinist to perform precision machining, repair, and fabrication of ship components in our inside shop. Must be able to work independently from blueprints and specifications using lathes, mills, drill presses, and other manual equipment. Responsibilities: • Set up and operate manual machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.). • Fabricate and repair parts for pumps, valves, engines, and ship systems. • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. • Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and tolerances. • Follow all shipyard safety standards. Requirements: • 5+ years machining experience (shipyard/marine preferred). • Proficient with manual machining and measuring tools. • Strong blueprint reading skills. • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment.
