Phasor Engineering LLC is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for a permanent position within the southern United States to help with our growing operations there.  We have a number of large projects in the western United States, and we are well positioned to continue to grow.  We are looking for additional Land Surveyors to support our current projects and support growth.  The candidate must be licensed in Texas and Louisiana and willing to get licensed in additional states.  All costs associated with obtaining additional licenses will be paid by Phasor.  Work-from-home or a hybrid work scenario will be explored with applicants. Responsibilities Managing all aspects of project execution The Project/Regional Manager Must establish communication protocols for the project which will include: Identification of Client or Phasor interest holders and decision makers Change management Information dissemination routes and procedures Systematic processes for project data and reporting Is responsible for project financials and must establish cost controls and perform periodic reviews to identify any risks Must liaise with Phasor personnel on a project to understand all project requirements including scheduling, cost, technical and logistic considerations.     Will manage any sub-contractors that are performing Geomatics work on a project Will manage shift schedules, accommodations and mobilization requirements for Crew Chiefs and Survey Assistants unless this work has been delegated to a Field Coordinator. We are currently seeking a Superintendent/Foreman to join our growing construction company. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to travel, and dependability are a must. Job Details $85,000 – $150,000 depending on experience 50 or more hours per week (no weekend work) Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday (home on weekends) Transportation provided from Kearney, NE when working out of town Paid travel time Hotel paid for by the company Nightly per diem for meals when working out of town Company provided pickup truck and cell phone Year-round employment (no winter layoffs) Requirements Class A or B CDL is required (or ability and desire to obtain a CDL). Must maintain professionalism throughout each project. Previous experience cleaning and televising is desired but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Must be able to manage difficult situations while cleaning and televising, including troubleshooting and developing plan of action. Ability to operate pipeline observation computer system used for the televising of pipelines. Training will be provided. Must be mechanically inclined. Operation, maintenance, and minor repairs of combo trucks used for jetting and vacuuming of pipelines. Responsible for entering and tracking manhours worked and production quantities daily. Responsible for effective documentation of performance feedback or issues. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl throughout each day. Willingness to abide by all safety rules. Job Summary Primarily responsible for implementing environmental remediation projects. This position requires strong work planning, sequencing and staff management skills to execute field construction projects within scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet contract requirements. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Oversees projects at multiple sites with little to no direct supervision. Projects consist of multidiscipline tasks with integral scheduling components. Directly responsible for implementation, oversight, and reinforcement of companies and client Health and Safety requirements. Directs field personnel, equipment operators, laborers and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delay and keep project progress on track. Complete required field documentation daily and accurately. Strong command of means and methods for construction activities. Ability to understand and recognize contract requirements; and identify potential changed conditions or out of scope items. Assist in preparation of cost estimates with appropriate back-up. Anticipate and proactively minimize schedule conflicts. Ensure daily activities conform to budget and schedule. Procures materials and negotiates with vendors/subcontractors. Completes initial accident investigation documentation and applicable after actions including (development of standard operating procedures (SOP), H&S stand downs, etc.). Attends site walks, solicits subcontractor quotes, prepares estimates, and assist in submitting proposals. Computer skills including Microsoft office suite Ability to recognize and initiate efficiency improvements. Works directly with senior management to establish long and short-term goals. Assist in projecting cost to complete and preparation of change order documentation when needed. Responsible for supervision and career development of up to 10 direct craft reports. Ability to travel up to 50 percent of time to project sites across multiple states for project execution, as needed.
