Job Summary The work of a Warehouse Agent includes the following: loading and unloading of cargo; the receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material, export at the designated docks, the completion of forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described. May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment. May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility. Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program. Responsibilities • Responsible for moving air cargo within designated warehouse. • Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers. • Build up cargo for outbound flights. • Break down cargo from import flights. • Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks. • May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks. • Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo. • Confirm Dangerous Goods (DG) have been checked within aircraft limits and Follow specific procedure for DG shipments when received, including when shipment is abandoned by consignee. • Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids. Minimum Requirements • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent • Must be at least 18 years of age • Valid driver's license • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, Sunday), holidays, and days off. **This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.** Preferred Skills • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. As you will be in contact with the some residents, customer service skills are also needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols. The LEAD Solar Installer will complete residential roof and ground projects. Responsibilities- Ability to learn quickly and follow procedures on how each job will need to be completed from Operations Manager. Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground mounts according to project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes. Work with electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage components, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on installed solar systems as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Adhere to all safety protocols on the construction site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. Experience- Previous experience installing residential or commercial solar and battery systems. Previous experience in construction or electrical work is preferred, especially in roles involving roofing or electrical tasks. Must be ENPHASE /TELSA/POINT GUARD certified to install micro inverter/battery systems. Familiarity with using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment is advantageous. Experience as a residential electrician or in a similar role is a plus, but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
