Painting Estimator (12119 Key Peninsula HWY)
All Terrain Painting & Repairs NW LLC is a trusted, full-service painting and repair company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Gig Harbor and the surrounding areas. We handle everything from interior and exterior painting to repairs and general contracting.
We’re looking for a skilled Estimator who understands painting, drywall, and general construction trades and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This is a great opportunity to grow with a reputable local company that values accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately estimate residential and commercial painting, drywall, and repair projects
Perform on-site measurements, assessments, and job walks as needed
Coordinate with subcontractors to gather pricing and verify scopes of work
Prepare detailed written estimates and proposals for clients
Review project plans, specs, and scopes to ensure accurate pricing
Communicate effectively with clients, crews, and office staff to ensure smooth project handoffs
Maintain a consistent estimating schedule and follow up on outstanding bids
Stay current with local market conditions, material pricing, and building codes
Qualifications
Experience in painting, drywall, or construction estimating required
Strong knowledge of finishes, coatings, and application techniques
Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
Familiarity with local market and building codes
Excellent communication and client-interaction skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and with a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided)
Subcontractor coordination experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary (DOE), paid weekly
Commission based on the profit margin of completed and paid projects
Fuel reimbursement with receipt/mileage log or company vehicle/card
Paid Time Off accrual begins on Day 1, usable after 90 days
Longevity Bonus PTO Accruals at 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 years
Flexible work schedule during business hours to accommodate site visits, office work, and job walks
