Must have a reliable vehicle that you own (not borrow), and must be able to clear a criminal background and drug screen (no exceptions whatsoever). This is a 1099 position. You set your own hours and pickup work as you see fit. You are required to obtain your own insurance (est. $30/month). Pay is $35/hr labor and $25/hr travel. This job is similar to a cable internet or satellite internet installer. The incumbent will need to resolve issues and/or problems as they arise with minimal supervision. This position requires the use of computers and networking in regards to radio communication and installing internet routers, switches and cabling. An understanding of computer networks is preferred and an interest in such networks will be considered. Roof climbing and tower climbing will be required but not on a daily basis. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be in good physical condition. Interest in computer and networking technologies is a plus. Experience in tower climbing and experience in wireless communications is also a plus. This position will require a lot of outdoor exposure (i.e., in field work and at remote locations throughout San Diego County).
