We’re looking for an energetic and skilled Barista to join our bustling café in the Woodlawn community of Chicago. At Robust, we pride ourselves on serving high-quality coffee, delicious pastries, homemade food, and fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our loyal customers. What You’ll Do: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) with precision and artistry. - Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards. - Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using our POS system. - Assist with restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and prepping food items as needed. - Collaborate with the team to keep the café running smoothly during peak hours. What We’re Looking For: - Previous barista or customer service experience preferred (but we’re happy to train the right candidate!). - A genuine love for coffee and a desire to learn more about brewing techniques. - Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease. - Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and smaller holidays. - Basic math skills for handling payments and tips.
