Job Posting: Experienced Bathroom Renovation professional (Plumber / Handyman) Needed for Bathroom Renovation Location: Queens, NY We are seeking an experienced plumber with over 10 years of experience to renovate bathrooms. One project is scheduled to begin this week, and we need someone who can start promptly. We also need window framing, tile work, etc. Job Details: Scope of Work: Replace existing pipes, including copper for drinking water supply and heating. Work with cast iron, galvanized steel, or other types of drain pipes. Implement a shower and bathtub faucet combination. Replace the drain for the bathtub. Install a new bathtub, vanity, and toilet (all materials are already on-site). Requirements: Must have all necessary tools for plumbing work, including a ProPress tool. Must be a licensed journeyman or master plumber. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. Proven experience in residential plumbing, particularly with older homes. Ability to work efficiently and cleanly, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Must provide references and examples of previous work. Compensation: Offering $40 or more per hour, depending on experience. In addition, occasional heavy lifting may be required. Duties of this position may require strength and endurance in performing heavy manual labor. Able to work independently and strong customer service skills. In addition to the normal responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician, the Lead Maintenance Technician will take on the additional responsibility of filling in for the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager if they are unavailable. Minimum of 3+ years of residential property maintenance required. Must live within 30 minutes of Ayer for rotating on-call and have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. $150 premium paid for all week’s that you are on-call, additionally you are paid a time and a half rate for any emergency calls plus travel time.
