In this role, you will focus on Kubernetes ecosystem development, optimizing and enhancing the underlying architecture, integrating opensource solutions, and improving Kubernetes cluster capabilities. You will directly contribute to the development of the underlying Kubernetes cluster architecture, driving system performance improvements and scalability enhancements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop Kubernetes functionalities and modules to enhance cluster scalability, performance, and stability. Integrate and develop open-source solutions within the Kubernetes ecosystem to enhance features and build a more robust platform. Provide a more efficient platform for development teams, supporting automation deployment, monitoring, and failure recovery features. Assist development teams in solving technical issues related to Kubernetes' underlying functions and provide development support. Participate in Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, including setup, maintenance, scaling, and optimization. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure the stable operation of the clusters and assist in solving complex configuration and troubleshooting issues. Design and implement Kubernetes management solutions across multiple cloud platforms, supporting seamless multi-cloud architecture integration. Continuously drive improvements in the cluster architecture, enhance automation, and reduce operational costs. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS At least 3 years of Kubernetes development experience, with a solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and operational principles, capable of developing and optimizing the underlying technology stack. Extensive experience in Kubernetes cluster development, able to solve deep technical issues related to underlying architecture. Proficiency in containerization technologies (such as Docker, Helm), and experience with integrating and developing open-source tools. Experience with large-scale Kubernetes clusters and performance optimization, with hands-on experience in underlying system development. Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters in multi-cloud environments and designing crosscloud solutions. Proficient in automation, CI/CD processes, and promoting efficient automated deployment and integration within Kubernetes clusters. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical challenges and improve system architecture. Good communication skills, able to collaborate clearly with teams and other departments to drive technical improvements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with service meshes (e.g., Istio) and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) development and integration. Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) are a plus. Senior Python Developer
As a Senior Python Developer, you will work with our application and collaborate with third-party teams to integrate our application with theirs. Our backend is a set of APIs consumed by various frontend React applications, including online ordering websites, mobile apps, and in-store ordering kiosks. We have three main APIs, each quite large: Admin API (for the admin panel), Order API (for e-commerce products), and In-store API (for our in-store products, including kiosks and kitchen display systems). The main application is based on Flask and uses MySQL for its database. We do not use an ORM to talk to the database, so you must be well-versed in writing SQL and working directly with a database to be effective. Integrating with APIs provided by the backend team to provide seamless connections between our applications. Integrating with external APIs directly. Expanding the capabilities of our REST APIs: building new endpoints using the OpenAPI specification. Building new backend functionalities to help expand the feature set of our customer-facing products. Improving the end-user experience by reducing the latency of API endpoints using all tools available (SQL queries, indices, caching, background tasks, Datadog APM, etc.).
