As a Senior Python Developer, you will work with our application and collaborate with third-party teams to integrate our application with theirs. Our backend is a set of APIs consumed by various frontend React applications, including online ordering websites, mobile apps, and in-store ordering kiosks. We have three main APIs, each quite large: Admin API (for the admin panel), Order API (for e-commerce products), and In-store API (for our in-store products, including kiosks and kitchen display systems). The main application is based on Flask and uses MySQL for its database. We do not use an ORM to talk to the database, so you must be well-versed in writing SQL and working directly with a database to be effective. Integrating with APIs provided by the backend team to provide seamless connections between our applications. Integrating with external APIs directly. Expanding the capabilities of our REST APIs: building new endpoints using the OpenAPI specification. Building new backend functionalities to help expand the feature set of our customer-facing products. Improving the end-user experience by reducing the latency of API endpoints using all tools available (SQL queries, indices, caching, background tasks, Datadog APM, etc.). Tracking down and fixing bugs encountered by end users. Refactoring parts of the application that require modernization. Expanding the scope and coverage of the automated test suite. Requirements Powerful written and verbal communication skills. 5-10 years as a Python Developer. Experience with Flask or Django, with a strong preference for Flask experience. A thorough understanding of working directly with databases and writing custom SQL queries. Experience working on a consumer-facing application with high-performance requirements. Experience integrating with external APIs for payments and other non-core features. Experience working on an e-commerce application, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry. Knowledge of and experience with CRM and/or loyalty & marketing applications, directly or indirectly by integrating with such systems. Hands-on experience with Celery, Redis, Docker, Linux, and AWS is a plus. Experience working with an established code base and taking ownership of certain parts of the code base (if you have only worked on projects built from scratch, this role is not for you). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision: You should be a self-starter who doesn’t require constant oversight to stay on task and enjoys solving problems primarily on your own. Position Summary We’re seeking a hands-on Junior Salesforce Developer or CRM Support Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of our Salesforce platform. This is an onsite role based in Henderson, NV. You’ll work closely with senior developers and cross-functional stakeholders to support the day-to-day needs of our CRM users, assist with system configuration, write Apex triggers and Java code where needed, and help integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone with Java or object-oriented programming experience who has some hands-on Salesforce development exposure and is looking to grow into a Salesforce-focused career path. What You’ll Do Assist with basic Salesforce development tasks including custom objects, fields, Flows, and validation rules. Support integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Collaborate with senior developers on Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Write clean, maintainable code in Apex and/or Java for backend support tasks. Respond to user support requests and help troubleshoot system issues. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Document processes, configurations, and code changes in Confluence or similar tools. Support data quality, reporting, and simple automation workflows across the CRM platform. What You Bring 1–3 years of hands-on development experience in Salesforce or Java (or a mix of both). Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce Flows is a plus. Basic understanding of REST APIs and integration best practices. Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD tools like Copado or Gearset is a bonus. Willingness to learn Salesforce best practices and grow within the platform. Job Responsibilities: • Formulate and develop sales goals and plans for the contract department. Once developed, work collaboratively with District Management to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals. • Locate & qualify desired & targeted projects. Foster local customer relationships resulting in tangible sales. • Take an active role in the industry associations and the customer community in order to develop and grow the Cosco brand in this market. • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of new construction and service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. • Develop, maintain, and broaden customer relationships through quotations, anticipating needs, resolving concerns and complaints, and providing technical support. • Ensure adequate attention is given to the attainment of overall profit objectives throughout the sales and execution process. • Develop layouts, estimates, calculations, quotations, and proposals. • Ensure that all proposals and contracts are processed and that any information required to complete turnover/billing packages is given to operations staff in a timely manner. • Seek out new customers to expand Cosco's customer base - willingness to engage in some “cold calling” to develop new accounts will be required. • Project management of projects sold may be required. • Estimate related service work & small projects including day-work as required. Qualifications: • 10 or more years of fire sprinkler sales experience required. • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, project specifications, sprinkler system design drawings, and applicable NFPA codes and standards. • Demonstrated leadership and proven negotiation skills and sales achievements. • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed. • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. • Completion of college degree in business, construction management, or engineering (or equivalent work experience). • Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. • Previous sprinkler design experience, including performing hydraulic calculations preferred. • Fire sprinkler project management skills/experience preferred. • Must have the ability to close sales and handle a variety of situations encountered during the sales process. • Highly proficient in the use of personal computers including Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe, Bluebeam, etc.
