Pausa Bar & Cookery is now hiring a server to join our team. We prefer at least 2 years of serving experience in a fine-dining restaurant, with a fast-paced environment and an extensive knowledge of food, spirits, and wine. Our ideal team members are self-starters and motivated to create memorable dining experiences for our valued customers. Communication, curiosity, aiming to perform at your best, and bringing a positive energy to every shift are all essential in success at your craft as a server. We are looking for a part-time or full-time team player who thrives in a busy, high sales environment. And most importantly, we are looking for people that love to learn and are team oriented. We are open for dinner seven nights a week. All tips are paid out, in cash, after every shift. Located in downtown San Mateo, Pausa has been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for consecutive years: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
