We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Tutor to provide one-on-one support for our son. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students build confidence in reading, writing, and comprehension. Responsibilities Provide personalized English lessons tailored to our son’s grade level and learning style Assist with reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, and critical thinking skills Support school assignments, projects, and exam preparation Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage curiosity and academic growth Offer regular feedback and progress updates to parents Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (preferred) Previous tutoring or teaching experience (1+ year) Strong knowledge of English grammar, writing, and literature Patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate and inspire students Reliable, professional, and able to commit to regular sessions Details Location: In-person at our home in Schedule: 2– sessions per week, flexible Send your resume to get a start.

We are a small independent tutoring company founded by classroom teachers, with offices in Culver City and Manhattan Beach. We are hiring at both locations, part-time to start immediately: Mon& Weds 4:00-8:00 plus one additional meeting weekly Sat afternoon once a month Additional hrs available if desired This is a part-time, in-person employee position at our center. Clean offices evenings, nights and weekends! Stay local, in the Silverdale, Bremerton and Poulsbo areas! If you love to put on some headphones and clean, you may love what we do. Show up nightly to your assigned office and get it clean. You must be mature enough to handle building keys and being trained to work by yourself. Disinfecting surfaces, dusting, cleaning restrooms, restocking paper supplies, emptying trash, vacuuming/mopping, locking down accounts when completed... all that glorious stuff! If you have a good eye for cleaning and are motivated to do quality work even when you are unsupervised, you might just be a perfect fit for this gig.
