Full time 40 hours/week. Diagnostic (electrical and mechanical) experience a must. Experience with older (pre-2000) vehicles is a a huge plus. We service all makes: American, Asian, and European, from the 1920's through the mid 2000's. We are passionate about helping people with keeping their cars on the road, whether it's a Rolls Royce or beat up old Ford just to get someone to work. Qualified candidates need to be dependable, self-reliant, professional, have great problem solving and communication skills and a strong work ethic. We work together as a team, our primary goals are customer satisfaction and to enjoy our jobs while making that happen! MUST have a good assortment of tools and tool box. Minimum 3 years experience. Ability to inspect, diagnose, recommend and perform services and repairs. We offer paid holidays and sick pay (after 90 days) and 1 week vacation (after 1 year). Job description POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
