Education and Experience • Experience on single and multi-family residential projects. • Ability to communicate to installers, builders, building inspectors and homeowners install methods and code. • Possess leadership qualities and the ability to be a self-starter. • Ability to multi-task. • Five years in the Electrical trade preferred • Skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents, • Ability to accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment, and labor. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Basic computer skills with Excel competency. • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. • Team player • Attention to detail. • Dependable and Punctual. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP and corporate accounting practices. The Accounting Assistant will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, and general ledger accounting. Duties: Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with our customers and vendors. Strong administrative skills using MS Office products. Excel vlookups a plus. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. QuickBooks Desktop experience. (Will be transitioning to Quickbooks online soon) Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements: Proven experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred. Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices. Understanding of financial concepts including credit analysis, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Strong Excel skills understanding and using formulas and vlookups.
