Depending on Experience  General Responsibilities • Works with a commitment to safety • Upholds the core values of Encore Electric • Acts as a professional and uses basic work ethics o Comes to work on time every day with appropriate attire and tools • Keeps work area clean • Installs quality work in a neat and workmanship like manner • Treats tools with respect • Works and climbs on ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms • Identifies electrical parts and components • Perform strenuous physical work i.e., digging, kneeling, shoveling, lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing • Keeps up with changing technology • Keeps up with the national electrical code • Wears tools at all required times • Work in all weather conditions Specific Responsibilities • Sweep the prefab shop • Take out trash from the prefab shop • Move material upon request with an all-terrain forklift • Prepare the prefab shop for work the next day • Ensure the prefab shop is clean and clear of clutter • Operate a forklift, broom, shovel, wheelbarrow etc. as necessary for clean-up purposes Other duties as may be assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of: • Safety and Safe working practices • Tools required to keep the job site clean, broom, shovel, trash can, wheelbarrow, dust pan, etc. Skill in: • Safety and working safely • Working with little supervision • Customer service • Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understanding • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, management, and employees • Organizing work to accomplish tasks Ability to: • Use and operate a Forklift PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: A functional physical is required to be completed and passed before work can be performed in all field positions. The physical requirements can often be completed repetitively and for extended periods of time. Skills: • Skilled in managing construction schedules • Skilled in handling logistics for remote projects • Skilled in working on fuel, natural gas, hydronic heating systems and glycol systems. • Ability to read technical data, and submittals • Knowledge of local and state codes, Uniform Plumbing Code. • Manage crews • Sizing of equipment, calculating heat loads • Doing assessments, troubleshooting & diagnostics for emergency repairs and upgrade projects • Coordinate with Lower tier subcontractors such as insulators, controls, TAB services • Basic computer skills, including email, scanning programs, construction software, PDF's, and Microsoft applications such as Excel & Word • Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to plumbing tasks. • Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to installations. • Experience with pipe threading techniques for various types of piping materials. • Ability to read blueprints accurately to guide installation processes. • Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for integrated projects. • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills • Experience in maintenance person services or remodeling projects is beneficial for diverse job responsibilities. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of plumbing work.
