Bilingual Lead Carpenter (Santa Cruz County)
We are seeking a bilingual, highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team and lead our construction projects to success. The lead carpenter will be responsible for supervising field carpenters, laborers and subcontractors, managing project timelines, budgets and ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and direct a team of tradespeople on construction sites.
-Coordinate and oversee the workflow for various projects.
-Ensure all construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.
-Prepare and manage materials lists and order necessary supplies.
-Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring completion within designated timeframes.
-Conduct on-site inspections and provide technical guidance and instruction to the team.
-Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
-Bilingual in Spanish is required.
-Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or in a similar supervisory role.
-Expert knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and power tools.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Excellent communication skills, organizational, customer service and project coordination abilities.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
-Proficiency in a variety of construction methods and materials.
-Commitment to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
