Description

A Human Resources Assistant supports HR managers by performing daily administrative tasks, such as managing employee records and databases, assisting with recruitment by posting jobs and scheduling interviews, handling payroll and benefit administration, and serving as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances. They are responsible for maintaining confidentiality, coordinating HR events and orientations, and producing reports to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Maintain and update employee records, databases, and personnel files. Handle incoming and outgoing HR documentation, correspondence, and general inquiries. Manage the departmental email account and answer employee questions about HR-related issues. Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and HR events. Recruitment & Onboarding: Post job advertisements on internal and external platforms. Screen resumes, conduct reference checks, and administer tests to applicants. Schedule interviews for candidates and assist the HR department during the hiring process. Coordinate new employee orientations and manage onboarding processes. Employee Relations & Records: Serve as a point of contact for employees' HR-related concerns and grievances. Maintain the confidentiality of all HR information. Assist with performance management procedures and employee termination processes, including exit interviews. Reporting & Compliance: Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures. Generate reports on HR activities and performance for HR management. Stay informed about current HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance with labor laws.

Stat Team, Inc. is a nation-wide staffing agency seeking reliable, professional staff to administer surveys to riders on Community Transit (in and around Snohomish County). Community Transit is conducting an On-Board Rider Survey in order to collect rider trip information and rider characteristics for future planning on all fixed routes. The data collected from passengers will be used to improve public transit in the region and help improve overall transportation by using the collected data in planning and forecasting. POSITION TITLE: Surveyor JOB DESCRIPTION: Report to assigned location (bus/rail station) 15 minutes prior to departure time to sign and in receive materials (paper surveys, pens, envelopes, etc). Board assigned bus/rail and distribute surveys to all passengers riding on the bus. Collect surveys when passengers have finished and make sure they are entirely filled out. The survey questions include: • The passengers home address • Where/what type of place is the passenger coming from and where are they going. • Which stop the passenger got on at, and where they will get off during this one-way trip • If the passenger used any other buses on the trip they are taking (transfer routes). • Demographic questions relating to income, ethnicity, employment, etc. The surveys will take place on the bus meaning staff will be on buses for roughly 7-8 hours daily throughout their shift. At the end of each shift, staff will return to their location and return equipment, receive supervisor feedback, and receive a report time and location for the following day. Shift times and report locations will vary daily.
