Job DescriptionÂ
·       We're looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer with a background in the requirements management, design for manufacturing, hardware/software development for hardware test.Â
Key job responsibilitiesÂ
This is a role for a highly collaborative individual who will help us with optimizing for high volume production and meeting cross discipline requirements. We are looking for an outstanding engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively:Â
·       Lead the development test system validationÂ
·       Lead software/hardware integration testingÂ
·       Lead innovative software/firmware/hardware architectures and flows for multiple manufacturing test linesÂ
·       Lead review and analysis on data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar.
·       Support and organize the release of the software and hardware system documents through gate reviewsÂ
·       Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production buildsÂ
·       Write status and/or build reports for cross-functional reviewÂ
·       Drive and prioritize execution of system test campaignsÂ
·       Design and develop software/scripting test setups and supporting hardware for various subsystem validation of the satellite bus.Â
·       Identify and analyze the cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives, including impact on performance, schedule, cost, risk, complexity, and scale.Â
·       Drive cross-functional schedules, test requirements, specifications and limits with the hardware development teamÂ
·       Work concurrently with the design engineers to provide design for testability (DFT) feedback throughout the design processÂ
·       Support production and integration efforts for hardware subsystems.Â
·       Define test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes at the CM including design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment, and test softwareÂ
·       Develop procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides to support productionÂ
·       Develop and communicate system integration and evaluation strategies and plans in support of program learning, technical risk reduction, verification, and validationÂ
·       Interested and able to travel domestically and internationallyÂ

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSÂ
·       Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructureÂ
·       Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, RustÂ
·       Prefer Experience with Linux/UnixÂ
·       Prefer Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processesÂ
·       Bachelorâs or Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experienceÂ
Experience joint hardware/firmware development; partnering with software engineers to bring-up and test new hardware designsÂ
·       Familiarity with vacuum systems, high-voltage testing, and environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI).Â
·       Experience with creating Design of ExperimentsÂ
·       Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities while ensuring high-quality execution.Â
·       Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplinesÂ
