Little Elephant Montessori School is looking for an Afternoon Teacher to begin immediately. This position is a part time position working with children ages 2-6 years old. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10am - 6 p.m. If you have the right attitude and great passion to work with little kids, this is the right place to be! Qualified candidates * Have a minimum of 6 ECE units including: Child Development, Family, Child, and Community, and Curriculum for Early Childhood. * Must provide official transcript and diplomas. * Fluent in English: reading, writing, and speaking - be comfortable speaking with parents. * Prefer Montessori classroom experience and willingness to learn Montessori practices and philosophy. * Must have prior preschool teaching experience * Have a warm and engaging personality and ability to relate to children. * Must be willing and able to toilet train and change diapers. * Have CPR certification/First Aid Training. * Must pass a Live- Scan fingerprint and criminal background check. * Must be authorized to work in the US. * Have current TB test and current Health Report. * Will need to provide 3 professional references. Providing support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals. Participating in training sessions and workshops provided by TEEI to enhance your teaching skills. Requirements Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners. Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a multicultural team. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Passion for helping underprivileged communities through education. Fluent in Italian. Having a language teaching certificate is highly valued. Good level of spoken/written English.
