CDL Class A/B Truck Driver (Pine)

South Platte Services & Shirley Septic Pumping, LLC Location: Pine, CO (80470) Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Compensation: $27 – $35/hour (based on experience and skill level) ________________________________________ Position Overview We are seeking dependable CDL Class A/B Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We currently have three CDL driver opportunities available: • Septic Pump Truck Driver – operating pump trucks to service residential and commercial septic systems. This role uses Class B trucks. • Roll-Off Truck Driver – delivering, picking up, and transporting roll-off dumpsters. This role uses Class B trucks. • Commercial Dumpster Truck Driver – servicing scheduled commercial dumpster routes. This role uses Class B trucks. These are physically demanding roles requiring professionalism, safety, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidates are customer-focused, motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. ________________________________________ Benefits and Highlights • Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities • Weekly pay every Friday • 401(k) program with employer match • Insurance reimbursement • Paid holidays • Boot allowance • On-the-job training • Steady, year-round work ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Safely operate CDL vehicles (pump trucks, roll-off trucks, or dumpster trucks) and associated equipment • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and daily preventive maintenance • Drive safely in all weather and terrain conditions, complying with traffic laws and company policies • Transport and dispose of waste materials in accordance with regulations • Complete scheduled service routes and/or dispatch requests independently while maintaining high service standards • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers • Perform additional duties as required to support the septic, portable restroom, roll-off, and commercial dumpster divisions ________________________________________ Qualifications Education & Licensing • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid CDL Class A or B license with tanker endorsement and air brakes (tanker required for pump truck role) • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions Experience • Minimum of 1 year CDL Class A/B driving experience (mountain driving preferred) Skills & Abilities • Strong customer service and communication skills • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused • Ability to multitask and adapt to different CDL divisions as needed • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspections • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations Other Requirements • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and driving background check • Physical ability to handle hoses (for pump trucks), lift equipment, and sit/drive for extended hours • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions ________________________________________ Work Environment • Local routes within 2 hours of Pine, CO • Frequent outdoor work in varying conditions • Field service environment with exposure to odors, dust, noise, and debris ________________________________________ Company Overview South Platte Services & Shirley Septic Pumping, LLC provides septic pumping, inspections, installations, portable restroom rentals and services, roll-off dumpsters, and commercial dumpsters throughout Morrison, Conifer, Pine, Bailey, Evergreen, Grant, Jefferson, Fairplay, Alma, and Hartsel, Colorado.
