This is where the locals live. Just two blocks from the stunning, oak lined St. Charles and one block from Napoleon. Take the street car up and down the garden district to all the local restaurants and bars, parks and universities or all the way down to the French Quarter. You can go and play in the Quarter all day and night but come home to sleep where it's nice and quiet to recharge for another day of fun on the streets of NOLA. Only 3 blocks from world famous Pascale's Manale (the home of the original New Orleans BBQ Shrimp - a MUST try!) and equal distance from Charlie's Steak House, opened in 1932! A nice walk or short Uber to Magazine St with ALL of it's wonderful shops, restaurants and bars. Tipitinas is also a short cab ride away for some of the best live music in the city. As for MARDI GRAS, this is the BEST location for enjoying it! Just 3 blocks to the parade routes. If you have friends joining you, there is plenty of off street parking available for them as well, which is a rarity in this part of town.
