Job Description: As a truck equipment installer technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various truck bodies and equipment, such as dump bodies, flatbeds, water tanks, plows, chippers, and custom-built machines. You will also perform 12v electrical installation, welding, fabrication and troubleshooting tasks. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least one year of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry. • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems • Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment. • Access to tools such as wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and grinders. • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions. • Attention to detail, quality, and safety. Our schedule is from 8-4, Monday through Friday (no weekends). This is a year-round position. The right candidate will have proficiency in all aspects of garden care: correct pruning, mulching, and planting techniques, western Washington weed and plant identification, and more. We seek someone with a depth of horticultural knowledge that surpasses the typical “mow and blow” landscaping operation. We will work with the right person to train them in our standards and systems before placing them in leadership.
