Pipefitting duties will include: Lay out, assemble, and install piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes Cut, thread, and fit pipes using tools such as saws, pipe cutters, and threading machines Braze pipe joints with high precision, ensuring no leaks or structural weaknesses Follow all safety protocols, and keep work area clean and orderly EPA preferred Qualifications of the Pipefitter: Victaulic experience Brazing certificate preferred Preferred 1-2 years of experience in industrial pipefitting with a variety of materials (steel, copper, PVC); HVAC experience preferred Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely, and learn how to operate overhead cranes and forklift Excellent problem-solving skills Benefits/retirement offered

Busy full service mechanic shop in Hastings On Hudson looking for an experienced A level mechanic. Candidate must be able to complete common repairs and tasks without assistance using their own tools. Responsibilities include general service and repair, brake & suspension work & diagnostics, electrical, computer & check engine light diagnostics, engine work & diagnostics on a wide range of makes and models. Must have own tool box and full set of tools. Knowledge of scan tool diagnostics and reading wiring diagrams are required. Must have drivers license. Communication, basic math, attention to detail, and reliability are all required skills. Candidate must be willing to learn and provide customer satisfaction. Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday. Paid vacation days after 6 months of employment, closed on all major holidays. Pay: $25-$35 an hour (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE). Work environment provides room to grow. Candidate will be replacing employee that is retiring after working here for 40+ years. Experience: Automotive repair: 3 years minimum, 5 preferred.
