Small and established busy automotive repair shop seeking a service writer. This position will provide general customer service tasks such as answering the phone and assisting walk in customers. This position is responsible for pricing repair jobs and selling the recommended repair to the customer. The service writer will manage the flow of work for the shop and schedule repair and service jobs. Responsible for inventory management and ordering of parts by working with a variety of vendors. Automotive experience a plus but not required. Skills and qualifications required: - Computer skills (typing, email, navigating basic software applications) - High level of customer service - Ability to multi-task and problem solve - Valid WA drivers license - Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Davis Automotive is a Monday-Friday shop 8:00AM-5:00PM. The shop is closed major holidays.
