GUARANTEED 40 HOURS A WEEK, If this post is still up we are still looking. If you would like to work for a company that works 40 hours a week guaranteed, please respond with your resume and your desired hourly rate. We are a class A contractor servicing the greater Richmond area. We have been in business since 1996 and we are looking for a person for fulltime employment. We are in the need of people who are skilled at Demo, Carpentry, Sheetrock and Painting. You would have to be proficient at two of these skills. If your a good sheet rocker and can paint as a second skill that is great as well. If your a carpenter that can paint you are welcome etc. You need to have experience working in occupied homes and understand what it means to cover things in the house to keep them clean. Which also means we are in the AC all summer and the heat all winter. You have to have a valid drives license and be able to pass a background check with NO FELONY activity of any kind. This work is being done in occupied homes and we need clean, neat and professional people that put the home owner at ease and leave the job site clean for the homeowners to use every day. If you can't work 40 hours a week every week there is no need to reply to this job posting. Please send us a letter or resume outlining your experience. Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description This position carries out those activities required to maintain and correct damage and make repairs to physical buildings, structures, and facilities as well maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and cleaning equipment of assigned facilities. Additionally, this person will do a variety of work involving equipment use such as scissor lifts and necessitate regularly working from ladders. Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Current electrician's certificate of fitness is preferred. Regular day shift, M-F but position may involve on call, night, weekend work or emergency call outs on an as needed basis. This position may require approximately 50% travel out of Anchorage area to other Alaska locations. Some overnight travel is required.
