This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining access control systems, automated gates, and related security equipment. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and service access control systems, intercoms, and gate operators. Run, bend, and install electrical conduit (EMT) and PVC piping. Perform low-voltage wiring, terminations, and system programming. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with gates and operators. Work independently or as part of a crew to complete projects on time. Provide professional and courteous customer service on job sites. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience installing or servicing access control systems (preferred). Ability to bend and install conduit and run PVC pipe. Familiarity with gate operators, low-voltage wiring, and general construction. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. The property consists of 216 affordable and market rate units. The work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include completion of work orders, preventative maintenance, unit turnovers, and grounds keeping. This role will also provide support to communities located in Manchester, NH and Haverhill, MA as needed. Your Qualifications The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC. Previous apartment maintenance experience is preferred. Must be available to participate in the emergency on-call service rotation and snow removal. A valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle is required. Experience with Yardi is a plus.
