Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Journeyman MI Electrician Licensed for projects in the Commerce, MI area. PAY: $35-42/hour (based upon experience) HOURS: Shifts will be 10+-hour workdays, 5 days per week SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday, 6:30 am-7:00 pm START DATE: ASAP Duration: 6+ months We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, from installations to troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and mentoring apprentices. Responsibilities for an Electrician: Install electrical wiring to ensure safe and reliable systems in homes, businesses, and other environments Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify causes, and provide repair solutions Repair electrical wiring, systems, and components Inspect wiring, components, and electrical products for safety and code compliance Train and oversee Apprentices and less-experienced Electricians Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve performance, safety, and efficiency Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting the upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves Must have standard electrical hand tools.
