Commercial Cleaning Team Leader (DAY PORTER) FULL TIME POSITION (1ST Shift 6 days per week) WORK TIME: 6.6 hours per day- (Monday-Saturday) ******PLEASE NOTE WORK HOURS CAN BE CHANGED AS REQUESTED ACCORDING TO COMPANY NEEDS! REST/MEAL BREAK TIME options: OPTION #1 NO REST/MEAL BREAK TIME (WORK START TO FINISH) OPTION #2 1- combined REST/MEAL BREAK TIME: 45 minute lunch (UNPAID) WORK HOURS 8 am – 2:36pm (without lunch time) OPTION#1 WORK HOURS 8 am – 3:21pm (with lunch time) OPTION#2 A team leader DAY PORTER manages and performs all cleaning functions. They oversee projects, various tasks, and help supervise the day-to-day performance of cleaning staff of varies job locations to ensure the job is done according to Office Pride Standards. Team leaders will perform administrative tasks such as submitting a daily shift report and mileage reports. JOB DUTIES: • Oversee the cleaning of facilities assigned to you on a regular basis OR additional assigned locations. • Train and support new employees as needed. • Ensures employees are trained on how to alarm and disarm the building, and to report any dropped alarms on daily shift report. • Train employees on how to use the cleaning operations management system and report any problems to the office if needed. • Provide re-training to employees when necessary and provide feedback on daily shift reports. • Submit daily reports to the office no later than the end of each shift for the current day/night (employee issues/supply shortages and problems with accounts, alarms, etc.). • Crosstrain employees to work in buildings to provide coverage when needed. • Ensure facilities have working equipment and enough supplies to get the job done, report problems/shortages to the office. • Ensures compliance of Office Pride policies and procedures. • Ensures the appropriate attire is worn by Office Pride employees. • Ensures safety and security measures are enforced at all times. • Immediately report any situation that may be considered a safety issue. • Follow-up on customer complaints (coordinate with the office). • Perform other duties / tasks as assigned • Work 40 Hours per week • Company Cell Phone provided • Company vehicle provided for travel JOB QUALIFICATIONS: • Able to communicate in verbal and written English. • Must be able to multi-task, be dependable, have excellent communication skills and maintain a positive attitude. • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where changes occur with little or no notice. • Must be able to maintain open communication with the leadership team, clients and employees. • Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility. • Must have ability to work independently and as a team member. • Must care about quality, be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace. • Able to lift 50 lbs • Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. • Must be able to pass a criminal background check. • Must have a good driving record • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
