I am a 30-year old working professional manual wheelchair user with a spinal cord injury seeking a kind, caring, and responsible live-in, female caregiver with good communication skills. I live in McLean Virginia, with my parents, and the position is a full-time, live-in position in my home in McLean. The ideal candidate is someone looking for a long-term position (at least 1 year and longer if possible). The following are the position details: WORK DAYS. Position requires 5 days on and 2 days off. Days off are during the week. The caregiver is free to remain at my home on her days off. WORK HOURS. The caregiver's working hours are primarily focused in the mornings and evening. Afternoons are flexible for the caregiver’s personal activities. ACCOMMODATIONS. My home is in McLean, Virginia within walking distance to shops and restaurants with easy access to Metro bus and subway. The caregiver will be provided with a private room with en-suite bathroom on a private floor within our home. All of the caregiver’s food is provided. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS. English speaker is preferred but not required. I am a Spanish speaker. My parents speak limited Spanish.
