Contractors must have sufficient vehicle for the work being performed Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov For work involving assembly, must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products Must Comply with vehicle registrations, state laws as applicable for the commercial vehicle being used to complete work Most work require two people, you may be asked to sign on with a helper Vehicle liability insurance-CSL insurance varies based on vehicle weight Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively Everyone is subject to a background check and drug screening, including owners, drivers, and helpers Must be authorized to work in the US.   Job Type: Contract  Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Install automatic doors and hardware following established standards and procedures. -Read and interpret paperwork to understand the scope of work and necessary materials. -Exhibit strong attention to detail in all aspects of the job. -Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform on-site repairs efficiently. -Ensure all materials and equipment are loaded and secured on your truck before leaving. -Keep an efficient schedule by leaving the shop and arriving promptly at each job or service call. -Use manuals and other resources to ensure accurate repairs for each brand of door serviced. -Thoroughly and accurately test automatic doors, hardware, and related equipment thoroughly and accurately immediately after installation or repair. -Provide customers with a clear and detailed explanation of the capabilities and operation of all installed or repaired doors and hardware. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to completing jobs and all related paperwork accurately. -Always operate safely and efficiently while performing job duties. -Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers and team members. -Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. -Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. -AAADM certification is preferred but not required.
