ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Assist the floor tech
•Cleans and maintain hard surface and carpets.
•Scrubs, shine, clean and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
•This job requires the use of specialized, power equipment.
•Operates waxers, buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and floor equipment.
•Obeys all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
•Performs preventative maintenance check on all equipment prior to use.
•Secures the work area and post proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.
•Makes sure that while they clean, they take care of all precautions so as not to cause any injuries to people walking on the floors or even themselves.
•Floors care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells.
•Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
•Periodic cleaning of the above as assigned by supervisor.
•Maintenance of floor care equipment
•Other janitorial duties as assigned such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning.
•Other duties as assigned.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST:
1. Be fluent in English and Spanish (Bilingual required)
2. Be eligible to work in the United States
3. Hold a valid Driver’s License
