CLASS A Drivers, OTR and team drivers, must have doubles and triple endorsement, great pay, must have a minimum of one year experience, and a clean driving record. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is safe and operational. Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel expenditures. Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers, providing excellent customer service during deliveries. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including long hours of driving. Previous experience as a truck driver is often preferred, along with knowledge of vehicle maintenance. CDL drivers may work long hours, including overnight routes and extended trips. Drivers may travel to various locations, providing opportunities to see different areas and meet diverse customers.
