Liberty Hill Studio is a small group of 6 dedicated artists located in San Francisco’s Mission District on Guerrero at 21st street. We are seeking a 7th member to join our group! Our studio is conveniently accessible by public transportation and a block away from the shops, restaurants and cafes on Valencia Street. We are a close-knit group and have fostered an environment of mutual support and encouragement. We appreciate camaraderie, yet each of us requires a quiet space for creativity. We are contemporary realist painters and illustrators. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accommodate ceramicists, sculptors or any art making that creates dust. Our studio is light-filled and welcoming with access to a backyard garden. It includes a bathroom and lounge area where we share a refrigerator, microwave, flat file cabinet for artwork and a flammable cabinet to safely store paints and materials. We have access to the studio 24/7, but we always keep noise to a strict minimum. Each of us has a dedicated space in the studio that we call our own. The station we have available is 7' x 10' with good natural light. Cost: Monthly rent is fixed at $281.67. Security Deposit is $281.67. This is a yearly lease, and we do require a 1-year commitment minimum. There are also costs associated with insurance, utilities and studio supplies (cleaning products, bathroom supplies, etc.).
