We are seeking dedicated and reliable Landscape Maintenance Tradesmen to join our team. The ideal candidates will have the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate proficiency in safely and effectively using basic landscape maintenance equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients' landscapes. Key Responsibilities: Perform regular lawn maintenance, including lawn mowing, edging, and line trimming. Carry out hand weeding, hedge trimming, and hand pruning to maintain the appearance and health of plants and shrubs. Remove debris and rake areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation of landscape areas. Identify and manage weeds within landscaped areas. Operate basic landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently. Support basic irrigation tasks and identify potential issues (basic irrigation knowledge is a plus). Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using landscape maintenance tools and equipment. Knowledge of weed identification and basic plant care. Some basic irrigation knowledge is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times. SF Clean City is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports greening and beautification activities throughout San Francisco. The Green City Program offers low-income residents of San Francisco with employment barriers, the opportunity for paid transitional employment, job readiness training and assistance with job placement through participation in community greening projects. The Tree Specialist Operators will provide tree watering, landscape maintenance work, and assistance with tree planting on routes in San Francisco. Operators will work alongside participants from our workforce programs. Job Responsibilities: • Safe, daily driving of a heavy-duty truck on watering routes, as scheduled • Daily watering of street trees on designated routes in San Francisco • Maintaining area around trees, watering bag, and tree support posts • Reporting of tree related issues, as needed • Assistance with the training of workforce trainees/ participants • Maintaining vehicles and equipment in clean, organized and good working conditions to ensure safety and minimal downtime • Leading and actively participate in tailgate safety meetings and safety compliance, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) • Learning and following Clean City safety protocols and policies • Assisting with group tree planting activities, as needed • Other related duties as needed. Looking for a well-organized person to come and work for our sustainable landscape-plant nursery company in Boynton Beach. Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years in the landscape industry primarily working with plant installation. We are NOT a lawn or maintenance company. We create landscape & drainage designs and install plants primarily using tools and equipment. Do not call us if you are only interested in using a lawn mower, weed eater, or edger. This is a full time job with benefits of holiday and vacations after a certain period of time working for the company. If candidate is able to drive vehicle, we will offer additional money for your wages. Candidate must be willing to show up on time to our facility, follow instructions, and work hard throughout the day with a team of people.
